Today's car trackers do not give any indication they have been fitted without you knowing. They don't interfere with the radio (most cars having DAB), they don't make a noise when operating. There are no flashing lights on most models, and if they did they would be covered up with tape or put in a waterproof container. The biggest tell if you're being tracked is that the same car (or person) keeps appearing at locations you visist.

Is There A Detector I Can Buy To Find A Hidden Tracking Device?
There are plenty of so called "GPS Tracker Detectors available on the market, but we steer clients away from these. For 2 reasons, the client doesn't really know how to operate the device locator (the instructions are in poor English), and the device cannot tell the difference between the car battery and internal electronics to a signal omitted by a covert tracker. These hand held devices cost between £10 & £30. The equipment we use to sweep a car for a hidden tracker is upwards of £10,000. There is a reason for this, it works.

How Can I Stop Someone Putting A Tracker On My Car?
Protecting your car from interference is difficult, particularly from a tracker that is fitted to the external elements of the vehicle. Good habit include locking the car and setting the alarm. Fit a front & rear facing sash cam that operates and records even when the engine is off. Park in well lit areas where there are CCTV cameras. Know your vehicle inside and out, periodically checking for interference with the trim and fuse boxes.
